1. Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy sets out your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) and explains how we handle refunds, returns, exchanges, repairs and remedies for products purchased from us.

2. Your Legal Rights (Consumer Guarantees)

Under the Australian Consumer Law and South Australian consumer protection regulations:

  • Products we sell must meet basic consumer guarantees, including being of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and matching their description.
  • If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose a remedy: a refund, replacement, or repair.
  • If a product has a minor failure, we may choose to repair it, replace it, or provide a refund.
  • These rights cannot be excluded by our policy.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Not as Described Goods

If a product you purchased from us:

  • Is faulty or defective,
  • Is significantly different* (see note below) from its description,
  • Fails to do what it was supposed to do,

then you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL. You may choose one of the remedies below for major failures:

  • Refund — return of the purchase price,
  • Replacement — a like-for-like replacement,
  • Repair — fixing the item (at no cost to you).

For minor problems, we can choose whether to repair, replace or refund.

*Please note that some differences can occur with colour variants of product from our suppliers. We have no control over this however we do match the colour as best as we can. Any major differenences will be discussed with you, the customer, before fabrication. 

4. Return

Incorrect Items

If you received an incorrect order or items that are damaged, please contact us via email at Admin@memorylaneImpressions.com.au or call +61 413 885 347 within 4 business days of receiving your order. Ensure that the items are in their original condition. We will make the necessary arrangements to replace the incorrect or damaged items. 

Note: We cannot accept returns on items that have been used. Ensure the parcel and the invoice is on hand for further investigation and assessment.

5. Return Process

To request a return, repair or refund under this policy:

  2. Provide proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or order number).
  3. Describe the problem or reason for return.
  4. If the item does not meet the conditions of this policy, no refund or credit will be processed, and the item can be returned to you at your cost.
  5. If the item meets the conditions, we will issue an exchange or refund. The cost of re-delivery will also be at your expense.
  6. For refunds processed on orders using PayPal or Credit Card, a 4% fee of the refunded amount will be charged.
  7. Note: Customers are responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods, including shipping. If the item is not received by Memory Lane Impressions, the customer will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

6. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

7. Delivery Costs

If a product is faulty, you may also be entitled to a refund of any original delivery cost you paid (where applicable). If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Memory Lane Impressions takes no responsibility for orders shipped to an incorrect or invalid address and is not liable for any loss associated. Please ensure all entered details are correct.
